Reach the World Next Door
Reach the World Next Door (RWND) is a practical cross-cultural learning course that helps participants better understand and connect with people from diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. In a world shaped by increasing migration and globalization, the course equips learners with the knowledge and skills needed to build meaningful relationships within multicultural communities.
This course is offered through the Adventist Learning Community (ALC), the online training platform of the North American Division (NAD) of Seventh-day Adventists. The ALC provides high-quality educational resources, professional development opportunities, and ministry training for church members, volunteers, and leaders around the world.
Throughout the course, participants will:
- Develop a greater appreciation for different cultures and worldviews.
- Gain practical experience in engaging with people from diverse backgrounds, including immigrants, refugees, and international students.
- Learn principles of effective cross-cultural communication and relationship building.
- Increase their cultural awareness and sensitivity in everyday interactions.
- Participate in experiential learning through videos, discussion questions, and practical activities.
Whether completed individually or in a small group setting, RWND provides valuable tools for anyone seeking to better understand the people around them and foster stronger, more inclusive communities.
